For Christian College Students: The College Focus Plan
College can feel like chaos — assignments piling up, sleep disappearing, and overwhelm setting in.
The College Focus Plan is a 12-week coaching journey that helps students regain focus, organization, and confidence — one week at a time — with Christ at the center of it all. We’ll simplify time, strengthen follow-through, and build structure that sticks.

“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers...”
1 Timothy 4:12 (NLT)
Phase 1:
Mapping & Momentum
(Weeks 1–3)
Create your academic roadmap, review your syllabi, and set up a weekly plan that fits your brain and honors your faith and assesses your habits and focus patterns. We work on planning your week, managing your energy, and starting assignments without procrastination or panic.
Skills: Planning, Time Awareness, Task Initiation
“Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom.”
Psalm 90:12 (NLT)
Phase 2:
Systems &
Self-Leadership
(Weeks 4–6)
Put your new tools into practice with personalized weekly coaching.
We’ll create ADHD-friendly routines, learn to reach out to professors with confidence, and stay on top of assignments even when motivation dips.
Skills: Organization, Accountability, Emotional Regulation
“Be strong and courageous, and do the work.” 1 Chronicles 28:20 (NLT)
Phase 3:
Focus &
Follow-Through
(Weeks 7–9)
Address distractions, burnout, and stress head-on. You’ll learn how to sustain attention, manage social and digital noise, and keep faith when the workload gets heavy.
Skills: Sustained Attention, Stress Management, Flexibility
“Let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.” Hebrews 12:1 (NLT)
Phase 4:
Finishing Strong (Weeks 10–12)
As the semester closes, we’ll create your finals plan, prioritize rest, and build a carryover system for next term. You’ll leave with confidence, clear habits, and a Christ-centered plan to thrive in college life.
Skills: Goal-Directed Persistence, Reflection, Renewal
“The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength.” — Isaiah 58:11 (NLT)
I'm Dawn Swayne, ADHD Specialist
When I was a student at Duke University, I struggled with focus, organization, and motivation — not realizing I had undiagnosed ADHD. I know how it feels to work hard and still fall behind.

Now, as an ADHD Coach and Certified Christian Life Coach with over a decade of experience, I give students the kind of support I wish I’d had.

If you’re juggling classes, distractions, and faith all at once, you don’t have to do it alone.
This is Christ-drenched, clinically grounded coaching — rooted in Scripture and designed to help your ADHD brain finally find its rhythm.
